- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Avoid at all costs. I had a very simple mortgage. I was purchasing a home from a family member. It took them 6 months to get their heads on straight and process the mortgage. It took 3 months to get the initial appraisal completed.By A Google User, September 01, 2017
